First Time FAQ

How long is the service?

Services typically are an hour long.

What is the music like?

Our worship services have music that feature a combination of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. The goal of worship is to glorify God by creating an environment where worshipers can experience Him though the music as well as through the teaching of God’s Word.

Is there anything for my kids?

Yes! Preschool and younger elementary kids are invited to attend our Storytime (children’s church) in the Kid Zone room in the basement, following the Children’s Message.

What about infants?

You are invited to drop off your infant in our nursery, also located in the Kid Zone room in the basement. Or if they get restless or fussy, you can take advantage of the “quiet room” on the west side of the Sanctuary where you can still hear the service.

Do you still use hymnals?

All words are projected so you don’t usually need them, but some still enjoy reading music. When a song is in the hymnal, we list a number by that song in the service order. Hymn numbers are for the green Hymns for the Living Church hymnals unless otherwise indicated. Sheet music is available from the ushers for songs not in the hymnal.
